File Fragmenter is a research utility used to create sample sets of data
from known good data for research or validation purposes. File Fragmenter allows you to create test data to see how a particular program handles an incomplete file format.
For example in a forensic analysis setting it can be used to demonstrate how much
picture file data is required as to be opened and viewed in a particular viewing program. Allowing you to state that a percentage (at minimum) is required to open a particular file. Users may also use this to test their programs and how they respond to incomplete
data.
In the above screenshot a series of files have been created from the original file 'hello.zip' containing 5% of the original file, 10%, 20% upto 90%. Custom percentages of a selected file can also be specified.
