Structured Storage Extractor is a utility for reading and extracting information from the Structured storage format (ole container) files.



Structured Storage Extractor allows you to view the contents of any structured storage file, examine streams and extract individual streams for more detailed analysis with forensic software. Structured storage file containers include but are not limted to Microsoft Document files, Windows 7 sticky notes (stickynotes.snt) and Windows thumbnail database files (thumbs.db). Internal metadata if available is presented including date/time information.
